Our Lady of Pompei Tech Fair 2021

On Thursday, June 3rd, 2021 we held our second Tech Fair in the gymnasium. This year, due to the pandemic the tech fair is taking place online. Each teacher was invited to select several students per class to showcase: a coding, robotics, or multi-media project, and a professional videographer Anthony Ferro was invited to film them. The following projects were facilitated by Mr.Kish and Ms.Valerie from the school board and Ms. Nadia and later on in the year Ms. Sherron. Many thanks to Ms. Jessica, the Our Lady of Pompei tech team, and teachers for their dedication and hard work, uploading all their amazing tech projects online for you to view. Our Technology Concentration Initiative Featuring S.T.E.A.M enables students to develop a variety of skills including critical thinking, problem-solving, etc...through authentic project-based learning. This interdisciplinary and open-ended approach is an opportunity for students to experiment, take risks, collaborate, explore their interests and spark their curiosity  Every classroom is equipped with a smartboard and every single student has access to an iPad and/or Chromebook.
